WOW! I have traveled extensively through the Bahamas and Kalopsia is hands down the BEST place I have ever stayed! Through many visits to Guana Cay, I have watched Kalopsia come to life from the precious ground up! Amongst so many things that make the resort extra special is its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the Sea of Abaco on a narrower part of the island. The views are incredible!
We had the most wonderful trip at Kalopsia Seaside Villas and Marina. I can’t say enough about the location, the villas, and the absolute beauty of the island. It was unforgettable from start to finish. Each year we have a “family fun” trip with my brother and his precious wife, and while our time together is always special, this trip felt a little extra special. The villas were such a wonderful place to make family memories, and we truly couldn’t have asked for more. What truly set this trip apart were the amazing people who cared for us. Within a short time, they felt less like hosts and more like family. Their warmth and kindness made us feel so welcome and added so much to the experience. There really aren’t enough stars to give Kalopsia. I hope this becomes a place we return to each year.
Kalopsia is a stunning resort that sits high above the blue water of the Abacos. This property is top notch. The cottages are beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. The owners are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. We were there in July and heading back over in November. This will definitely be a place we stay again and again.
Kalopsia was nothing short of magical from the moment we arrived. We stepped off the ferry into a relaxed, beautifully designed seaside escape. The scenery was breathtaking: turquoise waters, calm docks, soft sea breezes, sunsets that felt like private showings.
The villas are wonderfully appointed. The best part - the pool was gorgeous. It was calm, inviting — we spent a lot of time lounging or just cooling off after an afternoon out on the water.
We spent a lot of time boating, fishing and exploring the beaches, but this was clearly a place where you can do nothing at all and leave feeling rejuvenated.
